What other forums do you post on? I need ideas for when this one is slow.
I go to schizophrenia-support dot com…they really need new posters there. It is a slow site but anything would help?

http://forums.psychcentral.com/ very occasionally

The only other forum I visit with any regular frequency is sort of very private as it would be apparent who I was and I’ve sort of spilled my guts on there over the past several years…it’s a little embarrassing some of the stuff that gets dug up now and then and I have to go “Yeah, yeah that was a low point ha. ha. ha.”
Sometimes I think my negativity and weirdness may have scared a lot of the other posters away long ago…now it’s just a handful of us. Thing is only one person there ever objected to my existence and when it came down to him or me he left for good…
It’s more for those of us who are inclined to introversion and solitude anyway. Any of the others I can think of I’ve posted some sensitive information on and never went back. Not sure what I used for a username there so I’d rather not say what forum.
Sorry I couldn’t be of much help and just talked about myself for a while instead.
Don’t worry about it. I have a sketchy forum in my past.
The first site is owned by a retired psychiatrist. His presence on site is quite visible. They deal with every mental illness.

The second site is for schizophrenics and their loved ones. This site spun off from Schizophrenia.com by folks who didn’t like the censorship here. Very few posters there at present.
I sometimes keep an eye on other forums. Not much lately as they just don’t get the postings/traffic that this site gets. Even when this one is slow, which is rare lol, the other forums seem to only have a couple of postings per day. Good luck checking out the other forums.
I went to msfn.org and channel9.msdn.com for Microsoft related news and technical discussion for quite some time, but it happened that those are the most recent and cutting edge showcase that were out of my ability to digest and scope of interest…not just because I am mentally ill, but because computer technology is repeatedly cycling the old with the new on almost day-to-day basis.
Other than that, I go to local forum for other topics but the response is not as cheerful as this site.
