so why not subscribe to consensual reality, it is in good orderly fashion ( that’s @shutterbug’s, credit where credit’s due)
Let not the pot call the kettle black @wonderdunk , but yeah you have very dfifferent values than I have.
How you live your life and whether you continue to seek treatment (or not) is ultimately your choice.
You may not intend it this way, but your excessive and unrelenting posting about your unusual beliefs is becoming a problem on this forum.
You’re not more schizophrenic just because you’re not successfully medicated. And those of us who are are just as qualified to speak about schizophrenia and how to recover from it.
No, that’s not the issue.
The issue is your lack of restraint when posting about your unusual beliefs which is incongruent with the forum guidelines.
Using Plain English would go a long way in helping that goal of yours ![]()
Just my cents… btw I’m not a native speaker.
“If you can’t explain something to a first year student, then you haven’t really understood it.” (Richard Feynman)
I understand and appreciate that you don’t mean any harm. I’m asking you to try and exercise some restraint in the content and quantity of your posts about your unusual beliefs.
I get that, I do. But this is a recovery-oriented website. It’s here for people who are trying to get better, trying to become more capable of navigating what you somewhat scornfully call “consensual reality”. And you’re adamantly not interested in that. You actively hinder people in that goal.
If you sat around in health clubs encouraging people to eat unhealthy food and wondering aloud why people waste their time on exercise, you’d be asked to leave. It wouldn’t matter that as an out of shape person, health clubs were meant for people like you. The fact that you’d tried to get into shape in the past and were incapable of it wouldn’t excuse your behavior.
Similarly, if you disrupted classrooms at university or behaved distractingly in libraries.
If you’re going to participate here, the absolute minimum requirement is that you respect this site’s recovery focus, and don’t work contrary to it.
From what I recall, your rhyming/poetry is usually posted in the Creativity category which I think is fine.
whats this thread about?
This is gone way too off-topic.
Let it go @wonderdunk, all the moderators so far have warned you, you keep pushing it. This isn’t going to end well.
