Has anyone else experienced opiate use with this diagnosis? And has anyone else ever been instructed to do things and when not obeyed had physical symptoms?
Im on suboxone, so yes, but its no cure for SZ
The second part of your question is basically the same as your currently open thread from earlier today. Please don’t spam on a topic when you already have an open thread.
Regarding the first part of your topic. I don’t know if you are referring to prescription drugs or illegal use, but I just want to let you know that we don’t discuss drug and alcohol abuse here except in a recovery context.
Don’t self- medicate with opiates. They are extremely addictive and you build up tolerance real fast. Just stay away!
Is there a lounge for recovery based questions or topics thanks? And I’m talking about any opiate medicine so buepunorphine would count. And I mean by physical symptoms I do mean to be clear almost all the physical symptoms listed on the journal of medicine and science like feelings of movement in the head or body twitching or ticking. Or other symptoms maybe different for each individual. But mainly before the symptoms being told basically “to expect this” or something referring to going to experience something.
I wasn’t arguing against the category you posted in. Just that you seem to be opening multiple topics with the same theme when you have one just opened today not too far down the feed.
And ok. if you are talking about medications prescribed by a doctor and you are not abusing them, it’s fine as far as that part goes. From what I read on a internet search, buprenorphine is used to treat opioid use disorder.
As to the rest of your response : I’m honestly having a hard time understanding it and don’t know how to respond.
We should change the subject of this thread to “Fire and gasoline.”
Same diff.
While this is probably true. I was just saying that it’s an ok topic of discussion if she is using the med to recover from an opioid use disorder with a doctors approval. I don’t see how we can bar the topic if she is using it to recover from using. IDK.
If a doctor prescribed it to her, he may have felt it was necessary to move her along in recovery. IDK.
Anything a doc prescribes is fair game, but opiates are not something you want to mess around with on your own.
