Oh my, I forgot about those two! Lol Caaaaarl

Thankfully I’m not prone to violence. Spent my first few years around a physically abusive father, formative memories of him hitting my mother.

Left it’s impression on me.

I’m so sorry it stirred unhappy memories! I appreciate all you do on the forum. ((Hugs))

Don’t be, they’re in the past. They’d only be bad memories if I didn’t learn something from it.

I learned what love isn’t, what fear is, and I learned it can be overcome. I learned what it is to want to protect someone else, and I learnt empathy.

Always try to find good in everything around you, I’ve tried to do this, and It’s helped me rethink my world.

My mother and I fled when I was three. He never really tried to come after us.

Abuse can be overcome, and you don’t have to endure it. I’ve seen it first hand. If anyone is suffering abuse, please find help, there are people willing to help.

Just some musings, nothing negative in my mind today.

The thing about becoming a mod is you lose the ability to use the forum for support as much. We need to stay professional and stable. Our job is to be role models. It’s hard, i won’t deny.

If anyo be remembers, i used to have quite the temper. Now i must keep that in check and always think of members first.

I know for one I am wayyyyy too passive to be a mod. I’m bad at enforcing rules or any sort of order, really.

It’s a great thing you all do, and it doesn’t get enough attention. What you put up with, what you do every day behind the scenes.

The gig is no joke, I can believe that quite easily. Giving up a part of your support system for others sake. Restricting yourself and having subtle tact.

Is it worth it? You’re the fresh face in the spooky cabal of mod’s. How’re you doing with it?

Also, please help by flagging. Your flags help us see things we might otherwise miss. It isn’t tattling, it’s helping keep the forum a safe space for everyone. By flagging you are doing good work and helping!
