Only 10% to 15% of US schizophrenics are in the workforce

Not sure if she is a pdoc but it says professor of Law, Psychiatry and Psychology. Anyways read about her, she’s a big success. I envy such ppl. My dream was to become a Dr, gp.

Or each of us go to work at some point… 10 to 15% of our working lives

I wasn’t a ceo in a top company, but operated similar duties for a smaller company. I was in charge of multiple people, and had multiple responsibilities. I graduated from a university, and went to grad school. Don’t say we can’t be successful in life. I’m a stay at home mom by choice. But I consider having children and raising them my greatest success in life. Cheesy feelings insert here….

Look at the title of this thread. 10% to 15% of US schizophrenics are in the work force which is even less since schizophrenic people represent 1% of a population’s country.

Fact is. Is that you didn’t finish and not completing your
law degree doesn’t count.

I didn’t finish because I chose not to, because I went through enough to know that law was not for me.

But getting into law school? Huge accomplishment. Doing the work for a year and a half? Huge accomplishment. Don’t knock them – what have you done that’s comparable?

You know nothing else about me, what I’ve accomplished, what I’ve done, what I do.

I guess I’m one of the 10-15%.

Good for you. Even though there is no way to verify your claims, you should be happy for your so called accomplishments.

Well, there’s no way for me to verify that you’re completely intimidated by my success, and that it makes you feel bad about yourself, but I’m going to go ahead and claim that accomplishment as well.

Don’t bother writing back.

I can’t stand talking to you or reading your posts. I’m putting you back on my block list, where I should have left you.

@Pandy Right. Go ahead and put me on your block list then. I’ll just do the same to you.

I’m doing my part to try and bump that number up. Some pretty talented people here that I think are capable of much more than they themselves believe.

Now now @yinyang we get along.and respect each other’s cultures. @Pandy has worked very hard in her life and continues to do so. I admire her and her tenacity. So let’s not bring anyone down, especially our work ethic, which is hard earned and respected all over, because I know you don’t actually mean to do that. Thanks.

I don’t know about that. Majority of schizophrenics aren’t necessarily the brightest of all people.

Well, @Pandy is doubting my statistical claims so why can I not doubt her achievements in law? If she brings me down why cannot I not do the same to her?

You didn’t need to call her her out like that. She has no reason to lie. Why do you doubt her law knowledge? I’m just saying she has no reason to lie about her law degree classes. I agree, your argument with each other has gotten heated, and blocking each other is a good idea. But doubting her taking law classes is not fair. I’m not going to say who is right or wrong in the argument, but it is coming off like you are mocking her work ethic and you certainly wouldn’t want to do that to anyone, no matter who is right or wrong.

Since you tagged me, I decided to read your blocked post.

My anger at you gives me energy, and makes me remember and be proud of my accomplishments.

Please go back and read what I said – I didn’t doubt your statistical claim. I just claimed to be one of the outlier 10-15%, both in accomplishment and (tested) intelligence, and for some reason, you choose not to believe that.

Hmmm… let me think. What could it be that causes you doubt…

Would you doubt me if I were a man?

Let’s just say that the irony of this thread…

…wasn’t lost on me. Anyhoo… I was told I couldn’t lift myself up and have a life, that I shouldn’t even try. That was incorrect. I bet there are a few more out there who are capable of doing better if only they had some hope.

Imma find them and share my hope with them. If there’s a single message I can share, it’s this: Never let someone else tell you what your limits are - you damn well need to find out for yourself. You might be surprised.

Well she doubts my statistical numbers and percentages so why can I not doubt her. So now you’re taking her side. Why are you talking to me then if you are going to represent her? Anyone can type anything they want on this forum. The only true evidence is photos and that’s what I do. Speaking of being fair, you are being unfair to me because you are lecturing me about her law classes. Mocking her? She is mocking me about my knowledge of statistics.

This thread has run it’s course. It’s just arguing now. Nothing constructive will come from letting it go on.
