I met and befriended this young Kenyan working at a distribution warehouse once. he was very hard working and driven. he was getting his master’s degree and working at the same time. he also had a band and gave me one of his cd’s, it was really good. the only thing I didn’t like was he was always talking international politics and domestic politics. he also had a complex that people didn’t like him because of the way he looked.
I remember him telling me, that lots of people want to come to America for opportunities but have no clue how much a typical American works during the week.
