Well… Today I saw on the news about a girl who was raped. The people who make a law in that villiage (there are about 40) they all ordered the brother of the victim to rape the sister of the man who raped his sister. What kind of world is this coming to? How does that even punish the person who commited the crime? Makes me angry and so sad.
There’s been a buzz in my country around a certain priest who is also a folk singer. He has done many good deeds in his life too. He apparently is gay and now everyone is violating his privacy: journalists, fellow priests and laypeople alike. Some are siding with him, some are accusing him. Poor guy… I understand that the orthodox church is strict about sexual orientation, but come on, cut the guy some slack. This is the 21st century. Why ruin a man’s life?
Some of India’s laws need to be re-written. Wasn’t it just 4 or 5 years ago that rape was not only common there, but it was almost legal?
I wouldn’t be surprised @77nick77. However this story was not from there. There’s a lot in india that needs changing. Education is key.

In my old city, some guy sold fentanyl laced crack and it killed 9 people. He got arrested.
