Used to collect Matchbox cars and Hot Wheels. Right up to sixth grade. Then my mom thought it would be a good idea to give them away to the little kid two apartment buildings down.
I started collecting in 1966 when I was 5 years old. Those cars might have been worth something.
I had a couple of metal cars from toddler age. My father put the bungalow up for sale when appointed consul general to Atlanta . I was in psych hospital at the time. He got rid of those cars and other possessions I had, without giving me a chance to save them.
I had quite a large collection of Matchbox cars when I was growing up.
Don’t know what happened to it?
They would be worth something if I had kept them.
