well my dentist would say ‘Welcome to the circus’
Oh no, what do you think is causing it?
think its just restless legs from akisthesia from meds
in terms of physical movements I’ve been worse during the last few weeks
the feeling is coming down my legs in waves and is pretty intense
i think also this new generic med for this type of thing that I’m taking, must be less effective
legs are on fire
Fork
Cant they maby lower the dose or change the meds you on?
had a review earlier on
now after waiting 9 months between Psychiatric appointments i get restless legs later that day
meds review was: akisthesia
continue on the same meds
on waiting list for community treatment team
6 - 12 months expected
rest of the time I’m experiencing symptoms (+ and - )
nothing that causes alarm but badly enough
been stable on high dose of typical med for 13 years
not wise to mess with it
done enough changes
the hospital stays after med changes werent a 1 off
The typicals can cause all those problems you mentioned, did they ever try second generation drugs on you?
there is one i have tried twice and asked for a change away from it after my periods stopped for a year i was suddenly too worried to stay on that med purely because of prolactin levels
i might have been happier and more energy on that but both times i went on it I wanted off for the reason of bone density loss equivalent to being pregnant
Both times i gained 28 lbs in the first 6 months
i was very hungry
it was after that i could lose it
the first time but not the second
i’d be afraid to cause more 28 lb weight loss i’d be 215 lbs
but overall i was more energetic which is a huge plus
Oh no, puts you in a difficult position, maby there is a second generation antipsychotic out there that will work for you that wont raise prolactin levels.
yeah
i’ve tried a bunch of different ones
those 2 suit me best
