OCD awareness month, October

isn’t it typically undiagnosed.

I have about everything, but not this.

How many on here have it?

I’ve never been diagnosed but I have it a little. I used to have it a lot worse when I was younger. Would have to do things an even amount of times or some such nonsensical rituals.

yeah. I think I remember that @Wave

what can you do about it? what helps.

Antidepressants are the main treatment for OCD but I can’t take antidepressants because of mania.
I am learning to live with it I guess.

Jokes aside I have checking ocd though I’ll check in sets of 3 up to like 30 times depending on stress level and pending activities mostly taps, door locks, anythiing that needs to be turned off later. And also intrusive thoughts and images are a form of ocd.

I had it since childhood, big time.

OCD was the first thing I was diagnosed with as a child. I went through a lot of cognitive therapy for it so it doesn’t really bother me that much any more except for obsessive thoughts, although I think my sza might be causing much of that.
