Oatmeal saves a bunch of money

I get Quaker oatmeal. It cost around 4 dollars, and there is 10 servings. So it is only 40 cents per serving. Anybody else save a bunch of money on other foods? I’ve been eating it a lot for around 4 or 5 months consistently, so it has probably saved me hundreds of dolllars.

I buy my Quaker oatmeal online at Walmart for $2.50. I get the low sugar variety and I eat two servings at a time. It costs me 50 cents to eat oatmeal because I eat twice as much. One packet isn’t enough for me. I like maple and brown sugar.

I buy many grocery items online at Walmart and save a bunch. I save 2 bucks on Best Foods mayo. I can’t even get the kind of tuna I eat here locally, I get that. I get the big Folgers coffee for 6 bucks. I get the super big container of creamer for $4.50. I get a Libby’s canned corn for what I think comes out to about 50 cents or less a can.

It goes on and on. You just got to check out Walmart online if you really want to save money. And if you spend $35 your shipping is free, to your door.

Maple and brown sugar is what I get as well. I add more sugar to it. I usually add a tablespoon of sugar.

Wow, you get oatmeal for $2.50. I pay 4 dollars, so it comes out to be the same with how much each serving costs.

Quaker oatmeal is high in sugar. As a diabetic, I shouldn’t eat it, but sometimes I do anyway, just because it’s such an easy snack to have.

The nutrition isn’t the best among oat products, you would want to try oat bran or rolled oats preferably cowhead brand if it’s available in your country

I used to buy the big canisters of oatmeal. It’s like 3 dollars for 30 servings. I was buying tart raisins and mixing them in. Right now I eat toast for breakfast and that is not very expensive I think.

Yes, I eat Post Whole Wheat & Bran cereal every morning for breakfast. I stock up when it’s on sale (I think the sale price was $2.49/box) and save money, a box lasts me a few weeks… It’s very healthy too.

I also eat a lot of meat pies, they are on sale for $0.99 quite often too, so I stock up on those.

The large containers of old fashion oats are even cheaper. That’s what I get

I hate to say it but those little instant serving packs usually have very little nutrition. I buy the regular container of oats. The one minute oats cost a little more but half the time I buy the regular container of rolled oats. If I get it on sale it lasts forever. I like the taste and consistency of cooking the regular oats better than the little individual servings anyways. It only takes like 2 1/2 minutes to cook.
