So Tuesday I have to drive 5 hours one way to take my husband to his specialist for his migraines… He can’t drive city and I can and we’re gonna be taking my mom’s big car so we are all more comfortable since it is a car made for comfort. This drive is always rough on me and I normally get a headache from it but I’m gonna try and do my best to drive all the way but usually he ends up driving about 2 to 3 hours back on the enerstate… I’m gonna have a big day Tuesday

I did the same years ago went 5 years with massive headaches, till a regular doctor said my blood was to thick, they thinned the blood and away went the headaches

My first husband would fall asleep at the wheel. When we visited his parents, I had to drive 11 hours one way. I would get so mad because he would sleep the whole car ride and I’d have to stay alert on my own. I hated that. I hope your drive turns out to not be that bad

@Mountainman they found something that helps it’s a shot that he has to give himself
@LilyoftheValley he normally don’t fall asleep during this drive it’s just a long drive

@everhopeful thanks, I’ve done it before and I do okay with it just gotta make sure to bring my sunglasses… I’ve been trying to keep away from pain meds since we are trying to get pregnant

Topamax is supposed to be good for migraines
@iconoclast_01 he’s tried it, it don’t work on him instead he’s on Ajovie and that’s a shot that he himself ever month it works really well actually

I’m going to bed really early tonight… I’ve gotta wake up at about 5 to start getting ready for our day tomorrow… It’s gonna be rough, my husband is even coming home an hour early so he’ll be home at 10 and he’s gonna go straight to bed from my knowledge

Hey y’all, we are out of the city so David is driving and I have a headache as I always do on the way back home from this trip
So we went to my favorite restaurant and I ordered my favorite (gluten free PB &J bacon jalapeno cheese burger I ordered it with raspberry jalapeno jelly and ate that, then I ordered another but strawberry jelly for when I get home so I don’t gotta cook)
David got his double double bacon bacon burger and that’s like two burgers in one so he still has half of his burger
we then made to the hospital where his doctor is located at and we got there about 20 min till 2pm and they said he couldn’t sign in for his MRI until 2 so we sat and waited and signed in, it wasn’t until almost 4 till they got him in (please keep in mind this was scheduled) they got him out at 4:48 and his doctor’s appointment was at 4:30 so at 4:25 I asked them to let the doctor he was gonna be late, thank goodness I did! The doctor, a front desk worker, and one nurse stayed and waited for us! We got there at 4:55
The doctor told the doctor how well he had been doing and she was so happy she jumped up and down lol reminded me of a kid lol
She then said to get samples of his injection at the hospital pharmacy and they didn’t have it and the doctor was already gone so he has to see if he can get the med from his pharmacy and if that don’t work we have to call the doctor.
All in all it’s been stressful. Right now we are on our way home, David is driving since as always I have a headache from driving and stress.

Oh man. That does sound stressful. Does anything help your headaches?

@LilyoftheValley yeah but I don’t want to take pain killers because I may be pregnant. It doesn’t hurt as bad now that the sun has set and it’s mostly dark

@LilyoftheValley well we’ve been trying since the 3rd so I guess we see if I have my period at the beginning of the month next month, if I don’t I’ll take a test
