Does not having auditory and visual hallucinations lead to a better prognosis? I just have paranoia and delusion.
If you are lucky your paranoia and delusions could go away as well. I used to hear voices and I am pretty sure they wont come back now.
I started out that way too but the last time I quit my meds the hallucinations came.
So things can get better or get worse. I would stay on your meds.
I agree with @TomCat. Symptoms can wax and wane. It doesn’t mean it’s easier if you “just have paranoia and delusion”. Paranoia and delusions are difficult and can make life pretty tough.
I’ve been on the medication for about a year now and have been symptom free for a year as well, what are my odds that I am actually schizophrenic? Mind you it was my first “psychotic break”
i think its better if you dont have those symptoms, the less symptoms the better tbh, just try and deal with your own thing best you can thats the main thing do what you can
The best person to talk to that about is your pdoc. I would not know enough about you. My advice is just do not believe in things that are not real and you will be ok.
