I’ve not been out for ages apart from the doctor’s,ASD assessments, shopping, stepdaughter’s place once or twice , and putting rubbish out. I’ve lost count of exactly how long ,but I’d say it’s several months or more.
I hear ya buddy. I am the same
Playing cricket gets me out.
I’ve had some serious anxiety attacks about going and playing but if I force myself to turn up I always have a good time. That helps heaps.
I know you guys may not play cricket but having a regular thing to do really helps. Hobbies are good. Some you don’t have to invest any money in but it gets you out of the house!
It’s not as though I get much exercise going out. When I was going out it was 480 steps to a cafe to have a drink and a cooked breakfast/or breakfast sandwich. I’m not a great window shopper, and there’s not many shops anyway.
Do you have benches outside your building? You may rest there and watch the sky the birds or just people going about their business. Or you can take a chair out, to sit on.
Not outside my building. I’d have to take a chair down a flight of steps.
How about a deck chair ?
I’m in the same boat. I leave the house a maximum of once per week if that.
I could but my address is one of 5x2 flats with a narrow passage way outside.
Ideally I need a drop in you can just pop into. There’s a place in my town. I’d have to have my stepdaughter take me till I got used to where it was. What is iffy though is that there are activities listed for each day and a lot of them I can’t do/isn’t my thing.I’m not sure if you go on a certain day you have to do the activities listed.
I took the car out for a small spin around the block today.
I’ve been trying to sit outside 20 mins, 2x day. After the grass was mowed, I came inside and noticed little bumps. The ER doc said it was either fire ants or chiggers. There was an outside chance it was ticks, but only if I ran a fever. I didnt.
The ER told me not to go outside in the grass. Bummer!
Try something simple like going to the cinema.
