When I worked unloading trucks four years at Sears I was the best worker which automatically put me at odds with all my co workers. This Sears was at a mall and one of the few times I got along with my coworkers was when we took turns going to the McDonalds at the entrance to the mall and buying large sodas for everybody. I was 5 years clean and sober by that time but I used to crack up all the other guys because when it was my turn to go buy sodas I would announce, “OK, I’m going to make a Coke run now.” It never failed to get a laugh.

I worked at a Sears in the mall by me for around 3 years. It was around 1990. I was around 21. I would take the boxes of merchandise that was taken from the trucks and priced. I would deliver it to areas with a dolly or handtruck as we called them to be stocked. I also stocked the shelves and worked package pickup and in the bicycle sports equipment assembly.
There was a Cougar there who would sexually tease me. She must have been in her mid to late 50’s. I remember one time she gestured with one finger and said come here… So I knew she was up to something. I reluctantly walked to her and she said I just wanted to see if I could make you come with one finger.
