Nootropic Stack Progress

I stopped my nootropic stack and started over. Have had problems with gut or kidney on right side, not sure what it is, but I took stool samples with my doctor, plus bloodwork. Haven’t heard anything yet.

Cat’s claw 1000mg 2-3 times daily
Sam-e 200mg

Vitamin C 1000mg

Also I’m taking some supplements for gut/kidneys, but they are not notroopics.

I’m excited about sam-e since it clearly boosts neurotransmitters. Have more feeling and more connected and alert to suroundings, but a bit worried it may make me manic. Only used it for 2 days so will see over time.

Zink 15mg(with 1mg copper)

Zyprexa 7.5mg

Next week I will have a try at transitioning to seroquel with cross taper. But it will be a long process to taper of the zyprexa. It will probably take close to a year I’m figuring, if I am sucsessful. If I can sleep I will make it.

I have been taking Huperzine A, Bacopa, Lion’s Mane, Lemon Balm, Ginseng, Ginkgo and Rhodiola.

how much do you take? i am taking brahmi, ginseng and ginkgo too. also tulsi and it is called mariendistel.

what are the benefits of lions mane and rhodiola in your oppinion?

Brahmi 500mg of a 36:1 extract 50% bacosides, ginseng 1000mg 10% active ingredient, ginkgo 180mg of a 65:1 6% terpenes extract. Idk about tulsi I don’t take it. Lions mane I read its neuroprotective, good for cognition, and good for immune system. Rhodiola is antistress.

Good results on this evolution of the stack.

Cycling on and off Caffeine/NALT/Ritalin depending on sleep and sedation. It picks up my mood for days and after I reverse to baseline. I’m finding it easier to balance more adhoc as you have better control that way. The mood arc has so many variables it’s a hit hard to leave as a set and forget thing

I wanted to try Lions mane too but my pharmacist said not to mix that with Clozapine :pensive:

6mg risperidone, I stopped taking lions mane and ginkgo.

Curious, why did you stop?

My psychiatrist says not to waste my money

I felt it did nothing, I find that its the huperzine a thats helping me.

Most of these things probably little to not much on top of a slow taper. I personally do like NAC though

Starting to think about the next rotation. I will drop the p5p, I’m going to use Grape seed extract and reduce the high dose Vitamin C. Zinc goes up. And I back off the Curcumin. Guanfacine goes back to night. Taper continues down 0.8mg

I bought Omega 3, vitamin b complex and l-theanine

But in an online interaction checker, there can be interactions…

I just started Huperzine A and I think I noticed immediate benefit but some info says may take up to 8 weeks for full benefit

It’s not without risks. There are likely many interactions. CDP choline is the only one that has specifically concerned me

have you ever made a blood test? i was starting to take 7,5g omega 3 magnesium 2400mg and tryptophan 3g because of deficit. zinc and folic acid was okay.

I have had d levels and hormones tested. I didn’t actually realised I was taking a megadosage of Magnesium until more recently. I wouldn’t recommend 2.4g it’s more like 300ish max since already get some of this through dietary intake. I always get negative reactions to small dosages of b vitamins so haven’t worked them in well yet. It is expensive to test neurotransmitters and these tests aren’t incredibly reliable. Tryptophan gave me strange dreams which I feel was disruptive to sleep although I didn’t test this via sleep tracking. I suggest you do track you sleep via a smart watch to see if the Tryptophan helps or not.

thank you! smartwatch is to expensive for me :smiley: i dont take any b vitamins yet but i want to start with b3 (niacin) my sleep is okay no nightmares at this time, only taking tryptophan is a lottle bit complicated ( 3h after food, 2h before next food :smiley: )
