I don’t feel I developed any wisdom till my late 30’s. I coasted through life…spoiled middle class kid.
This Sz affliction humbled me, opened my eyes, and in many ways made me a better person.
I told my Dad, “Cripes! Ya hit 50 and everyone around you starts dropping like flies.”
Dad: “Wait till you hit 80, son…there’s nobody left!”
Then we both laughed!
