Bit by bit im taking over the household paperwork. It’s hard but it has to be done

That’s a big step from where you were a week or so ago. I think what you’re doing is excellent. Very brave of you. It’s encouraging to see family coming together in a time of need.

I used to feel lucky when I could help out my family. In fact I was eager to. Helping them out was my way of paying them back for saving my life. If they hadn’t helped me out over the course of my 35 years of schizophrenia, chances are I would not have survived. So I used to drive them to the airport when they were going on a trip or do yard work at their houses or keep my sisters dog at my place when she was out of town. You’re kind of needed by your parents now for a more serious role in the household, but if you’re like me, you will rise to the occasion when it really counts. Good luck.
