So im in the car with husband leaving my mums road and its snowing, our car skids to a halt in middle of the road and this other car comes crashing into us speeding and then keeps somersaulting over again. I say we need to ring emergency services and hubby objects and says the other car is probably stolen. I ask for phone and pin but phone keeps going off, then theres no charge left in phone and i wake up
I have such a lot on my mind these days i never switch off
This nightmare could signify problems with my mum and my husband
I had one too today that was very disturbing.
What was it about?
There was a gang of women that kidnapped a woman and a girl, the boss was there and made another girl throw them red fire ants the woman and the girl begged for mercy, the boss got angry and wanted to make it clear she had no heart so she made the girl who was helping her throw the ants at them, sleep with the fire ants on her own bed.
Jeez that was so messed up
Did it symbolise anything in your life? Feelings?
My nightmares usually express how i feel
I don’t know my dreams are random but I usually get the bad ones when i’m distressed. The boss for some reason looked like a psychiatrist who got very angry at me in real life. They were also speaking ‘‘polish’’ and I could watch the subtitles as they talked.
A psychiatrist got angry at you?
Had you recently seen one and maybe it was playing on your mind a bit subconscious
I haven’t seen a psych at the moment but my first psychiatrist ever got very angry at me. I have no idea why, might have to do with the alter thing that has been going on with me.
Okay you know yourself better than anyone else does including any psychiatrist. Try not to dwell on bad experiences just let them go. Were only alive once and the past is history not as significant as the present
I’m always running from people in my nightmares every time! Running and hiding it’s crazy how the mind works.
I’ve heard that if you drink a warm glass of milk before bed it’s supposed to help with nightmares.
I get them too sometimes.
@anon29983254 I take streaks of bad nightmares. It will go on and on, waking me and robbing me of precious little sleep I get. I’m so emotional and shaken for a while after. To me it’s very troublesome. When it starts happening regularly I ask my pdoc to put me back on Prazosin and once we get the dose right it puts an end to it. I take it for a couple months then try and go off and usually by then the nightmares have stopped.
If you get to where you can’t take the disruption anymore there is a med that helps. I didn’t know if you knew or not.
My nightmares like to take on a theme of futility. Where no matter my actions a terrible outcome occurs. They also tend to be extremely gory
