[Newsmaker] Disabled students in South Korea struggle to find right school

Of those lucky ones attending a special school, over 2,300 commute more than an hour to get there, the ministry’s data shows.
The rest go to regular schools which are often hostile to disabled students.
Regular schools lack basic support, not to mention physical therapy, counseling or medical treatment plans that disabled students need, disability advocate groups say.

So the students with physical/mental disabilities can’t even get special education…
