**Newish Member Returns**New Psychiatrist today! after 8mo without!

Hey everyone. I had posted here maybe 4 times in the past but my new psychiatrist is encouraging me to be part a healthy support group. Honestly, Facebook groups have been very, how should I say this- nonproductive.I just feel you all would be a better fit.
So, I haven’t had a fully transparent, non dominating and informative/lax with meds mostly if they make sense, kind of psychiatrist since my old Psych NP and that was maybe 2012…So any way, I’m Hollister, in my thirties, seeking knowledgable people about this disease and potentially make a couple of online harmless support buddies if that is allowed. NOT LOOKING TO DATE lol I have a boyfriend, so, yeah. I hope that answers that for the group rules. I may struggle to find my groove with the mechanics of the site/forums, but I will do my best.
So, Has anyone got a really devoted psychiatrist, too? I’d love to hear some feedback if that’s ok. I really want to get what I can from this group. ALL SUGGESTIONS WELCOME. I hope to join the family. Thanks for your time.

My psychiatrist is ok and i prefer them at arms length anyway but sometimes i need a bit of extra care and i havent heard anything from him despite being very unwell 2 weeks ago
