New Year's Resolutions?

I’m just planning to stay alive and well until I reach 80 in July.

I’m hoping to:

  • Floss more
  • Resist buying books for a year, and re-read what I already own
  • Revise one of my novels and get it ready for beta readers

Work on music at least 5 days a week and wake up early. Make a track that goes viral on tiktok and gain new listeners.

Wow nice one! I’m like two weeks into no cigs. Going for a month first, then a full year.

I have dreams where I smoke. That’s my only challenge. In my waking hours I don’t even think about it for a second.

I quit cigs 6 years ago and still sometimes dream about smoking, but that doesn’t damage your health!

I just want to stay stable

My most promising book is over 95,000 works long. I’m worried that it will go over 100,000 and that’s not good for a debut novel. Publishers might not want to go with it. I’ll need to do a lot of pruning.

I want to maintain my weight loss and get to my target weight of 155…only 15 lbs to go. Also, I quit smoking about 3 months ago and quit vaping like 2 weeks ago, so I want to keep quit on both.
I also want to exercise more, my stamina sucks arse (I don’t know if that’s from the QTc prolongation or not, tho, so I might not be able to affect that).
Wishing y’all a stable and prosperous New Year!
