Lumateperone is Caplyta and has the least side effects generally vs other meds. But side effects can also be specific to individuals.

Did you read about the AP Pimavanserin that doesn’t block dopamine? Its used for Parkinson psychosis but is being studied for sz.

Its in clinical trials phase 3 for negative symptoms.

yeah, but I doubt my doctor would prescribe me that. but it sounds super promising. And I’ve always thought that schizophrenia and parkinsons have a lot in common.

I might try asking my doctor anyways, but she’ll probably look at me like I’m crazy.

Caplyta costs about $1320 a month without insurance. Some people lost weight, some patients had setbacks on it.
