New job at shoprite

I started a new job yesterday at shoprite. I was so nervous that I was shaking. Today I took a Klonopin before I have to go in. I really want to do this job. I keep feeling like I’m going to f up. My mom says I don’t have enough confidence in myself. Can anybody relate?

I know when I went and helped my mom with her cleaning job, I found it quite easy because it was like doing chores around the house.

I can relate. When I needed to switch jobs at the casino because I wasn’t getting along with a coworker and they wanted to make me a cashier I was so nervous I wanted to throw up. After awhile I got really good at it. Meeting new people actually became fun for me. You can do this. Pretty soon you’ll be laughing at how nervous you used to be. Hang in there and just know everyone gets nervous when they first start a job.

Thanks everyone for the kind words Yesterday went much better. I’m doing the shop from home department where I shop for people from the website. Yesterday I was able to fill a couple of orders on my own. I think I’m going to do good.
