It seems like everyday theres a new commercial that i think is talking to me. Its hard to live in america with sz becuase the advertisments are actually talking to the consumer. Does anyone else think that commercials and advertisements were talking to them?

Moving to unusual beliefs. Keep it recovery oriented people. Commercials arent talking to you. It’s not possible , they are pre recorded. How could they possibly talk to you when they were recorded in the past? It doesnt make logical sense. Just think about that.

I agree with you.
But just to explain how the delusion forms my concept has been that the people in the commercials who are speaking to me have watched my life from the point in time or before they shot the commercial. And obviously the writers of the commercial also have all watched my life up to that point. So in conjunction with each other they kind of have the ability to form a communication that lands for me in the future in their future my present

Look, I totally get illogical delusions. I’ve been there. But none of that makes any logical sense either. The flaws in logic are too many to count.
Starting with: What makes you so special that everyone is going to spend all this time making all the commercials just for you?
The “writers watching (you) your whole life” makes no logical sense either. Nor does the ability to predict the future.
But thanks for taking me through your thought process. I’m glad that you understand that this is all delusional thinking.

I’m not trying to support delusional thinking. I’m hoping that if I detail it then people may be able to see that they’re not alone. That’s how the site has helped me a lot

I often experience the people in TV shows and movies talking to me or about me. Less often commercials.
As stated above, Even if somehow people could see and hear you, how do you explain pre recorded stuff talking to you @cdwithdcs ? It makes no logical sense. You have to realize that this not rational.
