New camper

I bought this camper a while back. The boss says it’s a midget mobile and won’t go camping with me. She has me trying to sell it. Haven’t even taken the plastic off the mattress yet.

I think it’s nice.

I got it and the truck for $400. Ugly as heck, but the appliances work and it keeps the rain off ya. It might get sold with the price of fuel now - Motel 6 is a lot cheaper than driving this beast.

Biggest thing my SUV can tow. It weighs about 4000 pounds. Horrible gas mileage towing it though.

Hey @TomCat - can you take your wife somewhere to camp that is kind of inaccessible from a hotel/motel and make it romantic? Candlelight dinner by a stunning vista or some such.

I’ve sometimes wondered if I could get a single person camper for fishing trips and maybe a little traveling, but I’m afraid that will never happen. I’m not too worried about it.

I called the Navy reservation line today and booked a week stay during her birthday next month on Naval Air Station Pensacola in Florida. They have a beach and a dog park. It’s also one of my dog’s birthdays that week.

I texted the confirmation to her and she called and screamed at me to cancel it now. When I got home she made me call them and cancel it on speakerphone. She said I couldn’t go either. I have had this thing three months and haven’t even taken the plastic off of the mattress.

I already have it listed for sale.

Last year I was thinking about putting a bed in my SUV and touring the American hostels. But I started clozapine can I travel on clozapine? And also gas went up. I don’t know if I will do it.
