Negotiating support from relationships and resources: a longitudinal study

That was a good article. The authors are thinking about us and how we get our support. They say we may have needs but sometimes due to our illness we reject others. But support is very important for our health. They talk about all sorts of people who can provide support, and talk about the psychiatrist as a source of connection, if the relationship is good. They say we may need “quality” relationships. They mention how stigma hurts.
The authors say we should look at the process of “identifying, offering, accepting and rejecting support.”
I know I need my support system.
