If you make a small research, you will see that paranoid sz has no prominent negatives.

I asked my psychiatrist which type I have, he said probably F 20.0, paranoid sz in ICD

I am not sure but that explains why many prophets, saints etc had only positives and they had right function in society. We have stories about hallucinations by persons of history, but no stories about negatives

My mother has paranoid sz but she has also some negs.

Here we use DSM. Off meds I have all sz symptoms, catatonia, disorganized and paranoid, I have less negative symptoms off meds. But on meds no positive symptoms, just severe negative symptoms.

The dr overseeing my care the last time I was hospitalised said I had paranoid and I have a strong case of negative symptoms (or more so cognitive, I’m not sure which is which half the time anymore)
