Needing to share about stray cats

I have been holding back from telling you guys that I have been feeding a few stray cats…two males and one female…the female approached me first every time I went outside and she was boney. so I fed her, then a black and white male started coming to eat, then an orange one came to feed…now a stray dog is being fed but flees when I try to talk to him. anyways, it is only a matter of time until the female breeds and then all hell is going to break loose so finally decided to call the animal shelter even though I had no hope because the whole town knows they are full for dogs…but the animal shelter said they would come and get them in a few hours…problem solved !! yayyyyy

I hate seeing the stray dogs in Sri Lanka. unloved and skinny. It makes me feel bad.

it was a success…I put the cats inside so they couldn’t run away when the animal control person got here…and she helped me put them in the transports and they will now be found happy homes…so happy right now…I did something worthy.

I hope so. We have so many people surrendering pets here that most are being put down. Landlords won’t rent to people with pets if they don’t have to and there are more people wanting homes than there are homes. Landlords can be picky now.

I hope to God they don’t put those cats down

This is what is happening in my town right now. We allow pets in both of our rentals, but cats only. No dogs.

When I lived in an apartment I started feeding cats on the balcony. I got one of them neutered and took him with me when I got married and moved. His name was Silky. He was a siamese mix. He was a very good cat. Strays can make good pets.
