I have a few math questions, and I’d love it if someone could help me out.
While I do want answers, I’d also appreciate a short how-to so I can figure it out on my own next time.

  1. 3/6 is 50%, how many percent is 4/7?

  2. If 147 is 65%, how do I figure out what 100% is?

  3. If 186 is 100%, how do I figure out how many % 113 is?

Since you are converting a fraction to a percentage, the first thing you have to do is divide 100% into 7 pieces

100 ÷ 7

Then, since you want to know what four parts equals, simply multiply the result of the first equation by 4

In this case, 7 represents 100% and the top half of the fraction is equal to the percentage you desire to know. Does that make any sense?

  1. Divide 4 by 7 = 0.57 , so 57%
  2. 147 is 65%, 1% is 147 divided by 65 (=2.26), 100% is (147 divided by 65) multipled by 100 (=226)
  3. 186 is 100%. 1 is 100% divided by 186 (=0.54). 113 is 0.54 multipled by 133 (=60.7%)

You set first percentage…for example
147:65=X:113
65X=147*113
X=(147x113)/65
