that’s fantastic. I’ve quit smoking and started walking everyday. I’m going to start doing a tai chi training video tape to see if I can do it, we’ll see
That’s great news. I’m happy to hear from you.
Thank you. I’m happy to hear from you too. I seriously hope you don’t leave. You’re a sweet man.
Thanks that means a lot. I hope you don’t turn into a leaf.
Do you have voices all the time @TheBest?
Hey don’t leave I enjoy your topics
@TheBest If you leave you will be missed.
I’m suing you for unlicensed use of my brain power. I’ll settle out of court for $ 1M.
If you start with the premise that your voices are your subconscious telling you want you expect to hear then you can gain insight.
Thus, deep down you believe that you feel that you are not wanted here on this site, and that you have learned enough to leave, which is why your voices (subconscious) is telling you this.
You are much loved and respected on this site, and we never stop learning. By being here you can feel validated and continue to learn.
Understanding that there are other reasons for coming here could enter your subconscious and the voices will change to meet them, as if you read your responses in this topic you found your voices changed to meet how you felt once you had approval from your friends and admirers. This is proof in fact that your voices are part of your subconscious and that you hear what you expect to hear.
For example:
After getting some support and friendship from the people on this site.
Voices are like hearing what you guess other people think of you, so once you had some support you realised subconsciously that it wasn’t true that you felt you needed to leave and then your voices changed accordingly.
Hope this gives you insight!
Thanks for the nice words and insight everyone.
My voices told me that I will be going insane and that I’ll be more than a schizophrenic and that I’ll have to go back to hospital, what does this mean @labratmat?
It probably means your brain is picking up on your fear of that happening.
@anon47167357
I would guess that you think deep down inside that you think that you are not well. Others don’t think you are well either, so you guess that they would say that you are going mad.
You fear that you are losing your mind and the idea that you’ll be more than a schizophrenic could be your interpretation of how you see yourself.
How do you see yourself? Does the “more than” imply a grandiose self delusion that sz is making you feel? or simpler how you see sz and think there is more to life than just being ill?
It would depend on your state of mind.
Oh ok.I used to kinda think that people might not think I’m well actually but I haven’t consciously thought about it in a while. When My voices told me that I would be more than a schizophrenic they meant it in a bad way like I would be more insane than a schizophrenic. Thanks for that @labratmat
