I had a wee laugh reading this topic my friend! I’m out here with shorts and no shirt weather…that is with a fan and the air con on! 
I don’t think I’d do well with your weather but I think 30 plus degrees C with humidity may be a stretch for the average Scottsman!

We got 33 C a couple of years ago. This here chubby cowboy was VERY uncomfortable! Lol

I live in a part of California that’s room temperature half of the year. Rarely gets colder than 50 degrees Fahrenheit and the only heat wave last year was less than a week.
I would prefer extremes that appropriately fit the seasons. That’s what we had in northern Virginia. You could have 90 degree summer days, and then have a nice twenty-something snow day in winter.

Its not cold now here, we had a week of -20C to -28C. This week its all -1C to -10C. We got 30cm of snow yesterday:
