What does NAC do for us again? And am I correct in thinking that somehow glycine helps in combination with it?

N-aceylcysteine (NAC) is a precursor to glutathione, the major free radical trapper within the central nervous system. It also reduces levels of homocysteine. Why not oral glutathione? Oral administration of glutathione doesn’t work as the digestive system breaks glutathione down into its amino acid building blocks.
