My son is 8 and doctors say he is probably bipolar 1. I am schizophrenic and bipolar 1 myself and my ex-wife is bipolar 1. Anyone else have kids with similar issues?
I don’t have kids but I come from mentally I’ll parents and brother. It can be chaotic. But it’s best if they want to put your son on medication ask ALOT of questions. It’s your son the doctors will understand. My mom just let the doctors do what ever to my brother medication wise and now he doesn’t trust doctors l
My current diagnosis from my psychiatrist is bipolar I disorder.
It’s no picnic but the meds do soften the blow.
