When I started taking the L-theanine pills it made me feel better, but it also made my knees hurt. So I switched to green tea, because that is what they derive L-theanine from. I tried the cheapest brand from the Dollar Tree, and it worked, but it made my knees hurt too. So I switched to a more expensive and it worked without making my knees hurt for a while, but then my knees started hurting again. I’m about to decide the tender knees are worth it, but sometimes it feels like if I stressed my knees the wrong way it would tear up a bunch of cartiledge in them.
Are you sure that the l-theanine is the cause of the knee pain? just curious.
It seems like every time I try a source of L-theanine my knees start hurting. I’m wondering if there are some kinds of exercises that will correct it. One guy said my knees hurt probably because of “parabins” in the L-theanine.
I kept getting sore knees until I got a knee pillow and use it to sleep with.
It sounds like a peculiar side effect to l theanine. Are there any corresponding side effect profiles which illustrate it?
I think I heard someone say L-theanine can do that to you, and it does seem like when I’m getting L-theanine my knees start hurting.
Even so, a knee pillow works wonders. Don’t forget to buy one with a strap if you get one, as they can fall away when you turn in the night.
