I’ve felt that. It’s just because it’s not naturally the person you are. It’s this illness that makes you think like that.

Yeah, they are tough. Especially the first ones before you get a little used to it.

The only thing that works for me is to distance myself from what happened when I was in psychosis. I know that it’s a warped sense of reality and that it impedes my life to get caught up those thoughts.

It might be hard to do, but I benefit a lot from alienating those episodes from my life. Sometimes I have the occasional backflash, but my life doesen’t revolve around all the crazy thoughts that arose during my episodes. It is easier to live when focusing on the present instead of dwelling on the past.
