Practice small bits of benevolence and maybe you can redeem a misspent life.
It’s an Interesting Stage to Unveil. The Question, ‘What is Your Philosophy’?. I Don’t Really Have One as I Stand Here Right Now.
Now For Years, (Many Years), I Would Remind Myself, ‘Do Unto Others As You Would Do Unto Yourself’. (If I Got That Quote Right, I Dunno).
That Little Saying, First Caught My Attention On a T00L Album. If I Remember Correctly. it Was On The ‘Undertow’. A Great, Splendid, Amazingly Creative, And Talented, Eyeopening Band.
I Listened to ‘Undertow’ & ‘Aenima’, Repeatedly During The Days They Were Released.
I Ended up Getting a Job And Started a Short Career in Construction. Hardly a Career Actually. (And No I’m Not Talking in The Sense of John Lennon’s ‘Working Class Hero’).
But!, I’m Rambling.
Do Unto Other’s as You Would Do Unto Yourself.
Kept My Head Above Water For Many Years. And Silently Opened a Door into My First Glance at Religion & Psychology. Although of The Theorist’s I Was Gazing at Were The Kind That Always Seemed to Be Out on The Edge of Safety.
Which in The End, Became a Driving Force For Me to Experiment Within Endless Possibilities.
And That Led to My Family Shutting Me Out of Their Psychological Experiment.
Which Was For The Best I Can Assure You. Modesty, And Humility, As I Read in The Bible. Kept Me Away From Useless Metaphorical Sharks.
So.
My Philosophy is: Do Unto Others as You Would Do Unto Yourself.
(Side Note):::~ Check Out, Henry Rollin’s Song, ‘Liar’. He Worked With T00L On One Song in ‘Undertow’. Called ‘Bottom’. A Favorite of Mine.
