Maybe this is reverse paranoia…but my new phone came direct from China…has no brand name just a model #…it was cheap and it does everything great…charges fast plays games ect…
Anyway to the question…I can’t play pokemon go…it has no american GPS…Is this good? Or weird…can they not come direct from China with a GPS onboard…

4g I have it connected to my WiFi…its good buff to run it but has no GPS to play with
it should have Gps cuz as u said its a new one …!!! Just check it…!!!
I did no options for it…it says this newer phone can’t play this version due to lack of GPS…
I think pokemon go goes with google maps, if you can find a way to install it, you might find it online, my mom had a phone from china and she eventually managed to install google apps.
