He’s always been a weak person.

He can’t handle seeing our Mom this way but won’t admit it.

I don’t know.

When I was in the psych hospital and ER he visited me all the time.

Even though he doesn’t visit our Mom he’s been calling to see how she’s doing.

I used work in a nursing home for late stage dementia patients. I’m not saying this is ok but it is a lot more common than you think. We would often have people come in after their loved ones were deceased to clean up that we had never seen before. This stage in life really lets you know who people are.
