My Mother wants me to switch meds but I don't feel well enough

To go through the withdrawals and insomnia and all the suffering switching meds would do :pensive:

I don’t blame you. I had brutal withdrawals when I quit effexor, it took me about 3-4 months to recover from quitting. It took me 4 years to slowly ween myself off 40mg of olanzapine. I had all kinds of weird withdrawal symptoms. I still have brutal insomnia for which I have to take 1.5mg clonazepam just to sleep. I quit olanzapine about 2.5 months ago and other than the withdrawal insomnia all my other withdrawal symptoms have gone away, however it was hell over the last couple years.

However, I am now on Lurasidone.and doing much better. I didn’t like making the trade off when I was in the midst of it but I am doing much better now. as I lowered my olanzapine and quit I’ve lost all the weight I gained on olanzapine, My blood tests are immaculate now, they use to be really bad. Now that I have been through it, it was worth it… (Except for this damn insomnia, but so far I sleep pretty good with the clonazepam, I also take 200mg l-theanine and 10 grams of glycine to help improve sleep quality)
