My husband says I’m sick. That I need to be hospitalized. I think he’s making fun of me. Is there anything I can do to stand my formal and or informal protest? I can’t go.

Is he signing a form that forces you into hospital for at least 72 hours?

He has power of attorney. He’s just softly asking me if we should go. I don’t want to go, and he says I don’t seem well and should go. I just think that this might pass. I haven’t lost my faculties. I feel in control of myself. That’s why he’s just treading softly. It’s a tip toe approach.

Try explaining the reasons to him why you don’t want to go. Come up with an amount of time to let you work it out and see if it’s really necessary

I mean I understand I’m a bit incoherent at times, but I know what he’s talkin about. I’ll try and see where we meet. I just don’t want to be sittin up there stuck and no wheres to go, when it could be something in passin.
