My health anxiety is bad today

I’ve had some leg pain when walking up and down my stairs today. I googled it and it’s saying possibly peripheral arterial disease (PAD) Which is a very serious condition.

I’m trying to calm myself down the best I can by telling myself that, 1.My pain is mild. 2.It’s not common for 30 year old’s to have peripheral arterial disease. 3. No swelling or redness in my leg.

I also jogged on the treadmill yesterday for the first time in 2 weeks, maybe i’m a bit sore from that?

Does anyone have any knowledge on peripheral arterial disease? I know none of you are doctors by the way. If the pain gets worse over the next couple of days, I will see a doctor. Just hoping someone can ease my mind a little bit.

A dr visit or sealing with a dr over the phone may calm and ease your mind .

I spent the last few months convinced I had cancer cos I was bleeding so much even after my periods. Turns out its just wonky hormones. I spent so long not wanting to see anyone talk to anyone or even go out much. If you are worrying this much don’t wait to see a doc. I’m really sorry you’re going through this.

The best advice I can give is don’t look at diseases on the internet you can look up a headache and read it’s a symptom of a deadly disease

Just remember not everything on the internet is true

@TheCanuk are you on medication for anxiety? I take the maximum dose for Buspirone. It helps a lot.

It’s jogging on the treadmill that most likely is causing you the pain.
Try not to worry @TheCanuk
