My fuel rates have gone up

Is between heating or eating

I guess the obvious choice is eating cold food in a blanket next to a fire that you made from grocery store receipts and sticks from outside.

If there is no other food source such as a food bank, then I would chose food.

Can you cut cost some how? turn the thermastat down to the 50s or 60s or so, then use an electric blanket at night?

Yeah that’s what I’ll do. Set the thermostat low (basically to stop the pipes freezing) and use an electric blanket.

If you have any big gaps under or around doors then block cold air with old news paper maybe.

Will it be summer there soon?
