One of my friends who happens to be gay and works as a conservationist has an older sister who once teased me at school for saying I fancied someone. I recently found out she works for NATO. I remember wearing a badge on camp with the slogan “Britain out of NATO, NATO out of Britain” so I was a bit upset. She told me that they mostly work to combat piracy and people trafficking. I still don’t believe her, I was always taught that they were America’s occupation force in Europe. I hope that’s not too political.
