Right now, he seems to be fighting it. Sometimes he’s asleep, others he’s awake but out of touch with reality. He’s suffering. That makes it hard. But he’s been a fighter his whole life and has survived a lot, so we think he’s still fighting to live. That’s why my husband has been telling him it’s ok to let go. He’s a practicing Catholic, so we had a priest come and give him his last rites today
