That’s a nice way to look at it x

I don’t understand how people are sensitive to it.

This one guy I know hates coffee cuz if he drinks even the smallest amount, he starts tweaking lol.

It’s a wonder drug.

Actually, it’s been more of a miracle drug for me.

Ya

I think it’s true it works 4 some not 4 others.

I gotta accept it makes me crazy.

My thoughts get louder and speed up.

I had like 300mg caffeine at 6pm yesterday and went to sleep at 10pm no problem. But im probably naturally lower energy level.

I’m similar.

I can take 200mg at 9PM and fall soundly asleep at 12AM.

Cardio can help boost energy levels in long term. But I always felt super tired immediately afterwards that I would often fall asleep.
I haven’t done any for about two years now O.o

But yeah I deal with fatigue a lot. I find just not being too harsh on myself and allowing rest days is the only way I can put up with it.

It’s good you don’t like caffeine like energy drinks. I used to get crashes after it wore off. I drink low carb, low sugar ones and don’t feel the crash as much. I am addicted to them. I hate feeling sedated, unmotivated, and slow. I feel like I cannot focus sometimes.

I try to do very low easy excersize to get me the result of more energy when I am done. I always heard excersize can create ATP in the body which gives the body energy

Yes, exercise creates adenosine triphosphate (ATP), which is a molecule that provides energy for muscle contraction. The body uses ATP to power many cellular functions, including muscle contractions, nerve cell function, and food absorption.

How is ATP created during exercise?

  • Anaerobic metabolism

Also known as substrate-level phosphorylation, this process breaks down phosphocreatine and muscle glycogen to create ATP.

  • Aerobic metabolism

Also known as oxidative phosphorylation, this process uses glucose, fats, and amino acids to create ATP.

How does exercise intensity and duration affect ATP production?

  • High-intensity exercise: Can increase the demand for ATP by up to 1,000 times.
  • Exercise duration: The relative contributions of anaerobic and aerobic metabolism depend on the length and intensity of exercise.

How does ATP depletion lead to fatigue?

  • When ATP is depleted, the body can’t produce enough energy to sustain muscle contractions. This can lead to fatigue, which is a decrease in force production during muscle contraction.

Fatigue after something like viral gastroenteritis is rough—it really drains you! It can take a while for your body to fully bounce back, especially if you’re avoiding caffeine and supplements. In my experience, focusing on hydration, balanced meals, and gentle movement (like walking or stretching) can help restore energy naturally. Sleep quality is also huge—sometimes just adjusting bedtime habits makes a big difference.
