I think I’m equal to everybody at times. Other times I feel like I’m the lowest guy on earth. I need balance.

Maybe do a self-esteem course?

Equal isn’t bad. Maybe say to yourself, “I’m human” when you make mistakes to stop a downward spiral. For when you are too far up remember that others are only human too. If you only feel equal to others you probably should stop yourself there. Remember there are bigger egos out there on worse guys. I wonder if you can pick any of those out on your own

I am often attracted to people with big egos. They seem to have something I lack.

As a person you are equal to everyone else. You seem like a good person. I really appreciate your participation here. I think you are equal to everyone else.
I actually think you are right there. Everyone is a person of value and can be a person of value. Of course everyone also struggles at time. But that doesn’t mean you aren’t or can’t be a valuable person.
