Oh thank god. Yeah that can be a little scary but much better than being awake for some of this stuff in my opinion. I’m getting nervous trying to imagine what he’s gonna use on me in a couple of days cuz I’m 100% sure I’m gonna be awake for it.

I like after a colonoscopy you can fart as much as you want and as loud as you want and the nurses encourage it.

Endoscopic are examination inside the body. Its not surgery.

YOu are correct, but I don’t think anyone here said they are surgeries.
However, they can become surgeries if polyps need to be removed or whatever.
Yes ok. After endoscopy, you can decide for surgery or not to surgery. Depends on you. Don’t worry much.

Ok, thank you @anon1243761 . Generally, during a lower endoscopy they just remove whatever polyps they find at the same time as looking. Last time I had a lower, I think they removed 7? If I’m remembering right. or was it 9? My memory sometimes is spotty. Pretty sure it was 7. I dont feel like serching through my papers.
But either way, its an upper this time so probably no removal of anything.
