My dog doesn’t beg per se. But whenever I eat something, she will either come lie down next to me or go to her rug and wait.
If she lies down next to me she will go to her rug in the kitchen immediately when I get up to throw away my paper plate or put my dishes in the dishwasher.
If I dont give her something very quickly she will bark or whine to let me know that I can’t forget her.
We used to try to remember to save her a small amount of leftover, but now I try to mostly just give her a steamed carrot.
Haha, yeah we broke her of that when she was young. She is very polite .
I almost exclusively give her a steamed baby carrot now, because she needs to lose weight. Giving her a small bite of our food after every meal was probably a contributing factor to her weight issues. We need to get her fit , so she lives a long time.
My dog ONLY eats veggies if they’re cooked…give her a raw veggie and she spits it out, but she’ll inhale a cooked veggie. She doesn’t like any fruit, either. So dang picky!
Oscar will put his paw on my mom’s leg and look at her… He doesn’t do that to anyone else though… He just stares at David and I and licks his chomps (lips) lol
I sometimes feed my dog a bite of my food or some falls off my plate. She waits patiently usually but she does stare or hide under the table. I feed her lots of lettuce and cucumber for snacks, she absolutely loves them. She likes other vegetables cooked. Have you tried iceberg lettuce for a treat?
