Kind of grumpy about it because my dad knows she can escape out of their fence and he didnt watch her while she went potty.

Our dog has been jumping the fence a lot lately. We live right next to a busy highway so it is concerning. She mostly does it when someone gets home though. So she doesnt go very far. Still. I dont like her knowing she can jump the fence.

When I lived with my parents, they hired someone to cut the bushes, who took a small fence down during the process, and didn’t put it back up. I told my Dad about it but he just didn’t care. It wasnt my house, or my fence so I wasn’t going to do it.
One day one of their dogs wanders through the whole into a (somewhat un-busy) road. Luckily someone noticed he had escaped that way fairly quickly and he came back obediently when called. Was still scary. And annoying because my Dad knew there was an issue yet did nothing to fix the problem. Why wait for a dog to put himself in danger before putting the fence back up? Took him like 4 minutes tops to actually put it back up.
